Alliance for Securing Democracy was launched in 2017 and is funded by the German Marshall Fund which in turn is funded by the US. The president of the German Marshall fund is Karen Donfried. They have other 'alliances' including Asia, the Balkans, The Black Sea and 'Congressional Affairs'.

The Alliance is the same organization cited by DiFi and Schiff in their letter(s) to Zuckerberg and Dorsey claiming that bots, not people, were demanding "Release the Memo". Of course it was just DiFi doing her own version of a wrap up smear, but she used AFD as the vehicle. The Alliance staff - suspicious AF, especially Laura Rosenberger. She had many high level contacts in the Hussein admin and wouldn't be surprised if she still held her security clearance.
