Imho, God is an infinitely complex self-aware mathematical structure which we are all a part of. Time, space, matter and energy are illusions. The only things that are 'real' are the connections between different parts of this structure- i.e. consciousness.

There are an uncountably huge number of alternative universes because they are all valid solutions of the underlying equations. Sounds fantastic but it actually makes the most sense. If the universe is only math to begin with, a multiverse costs nothing.

Why should such a structure not be pervaded by consciousness? It is far more complex than anything else known. Ripe for emergent behavior. Its consciousness could even influence things going back in time, because there is no time. It would probably experience time as Dr. Manhattan does.

Here's another interesting one. He accidentally memed lucifer as God at 56:00 end but only because he is talking to Theosophists. Forgive him, Lord, he knows not what he does. But the Theosophists know.

This theory is the best scientific argument for His existence that I have seen. And even if they don't have the right specific model, a lot of the ideas expressed are common to all mathematical universe theories.

They also leave room for never understanding God's mind (because His mind is infinitely bigger than our own) and there is room for miracles (if you had a brain the size of the entire multiverse, you could probably find a way to plant dreams in the heads of puny humans).

Of course, a scientific argument for his existence is not necessary… but it certainly helps with certain people, such as my former self.
