Here I am with Senator Graham as promised. It was a fun, informative, and jovial meeting. I asked him some questions. Here is what I can share:
What did Huma say to him at the funeral?-
This question made him visibly uncomfortable but after a pause he said that it was nothing to worry about, acknowledged his eye contact with Kelly and Mattis, and that Huma sometimes travels in the same group as him. He would not say more.
When will we see unredacted FISA apps?-
He said that he has been asking POTUS about the timeframe of declas, and that all POTUS says is that SESSIONS IS WORKING ON IT. No idea how soon.
Will Dems be held accountable for crimes committed during Kavanaugh hearings?-
“Let’s win midterms first. You will see the greatest republican senate majority in your lifetime. We will see how the house goes.”
Btw, Sen. Cory Gardner was there as well (the good one). He mostly spoke about campaign activities for Rep candidates as he travelled the country. We had shrimp and grits for dinner with pulled pork, corn soufflés, and biscuits. Classic South Carolina fare. Sending love to my fellow anons!
