Went on top of the old structure and it was scary as hell going up. Inside the stairs and supporting structures were rotted through by that time. A friend worked at johnson controls and had the proper access. I did not.
The top had tons of beer bottles and used rubbers so it was used quite a bit.
Never went in it. It was hard to tell most because of the access I had. I had enough though.
Dealt with C.O. many times but not with what would be important stuff…pretty boring.
But you see things.

The hardware in that building blew away anything I had ever sen before.
Was with a group of people for a ceremonial visit to the base. He was our visitor for the day.
