Yeah I've pondered this before. I don't think its much different than politics. It's not that Politicians just so happen to also have a larger than average pedo percentage, it's that it's a requirement in order to be selected as a possible candidate for the position. There must be a fatal flaw that can be manipulated in the person before they can be approved for the spot. Otherwise they can't "trust" them meaning they must be compromised for blackmail.
