it´s 7am here in Germany, nothing new so far. Merkel resigned from the party lead, she did NOT resign as chancellor.

 

One of her possible successors could be Friedrich Merz, head of the Atlantic Council and boardmember of Blackrock. I don´t think this would be better for Germany.

Rumours are that she will not remain chancellor much longer. But as the past shows it seems she is glued to her chair, I do not think she will leave voluntarily. Several candidates are stepping forward to replace her, but nothing concrete yet. No "good guy" on the radar so far. Could we borrow POTUS for some time?
