Third caravan has forced its way from El Salvador into Guatemala, and is now almost to the Mexican border.

 

Incredible. I think Guatemala and Mexico are really trying to stop these, but short of outright military measures, they are just too aggressive and are never stopped. The UN is on hand, at least in southern Mexico, to make sure these lawbreakers' human rights are protected.

Human rights as defined by the UN. It seems that anything that really stops them isn't being allowed, so their rights have to be reduced until something can stop them. I can't imagine Mexico wants them moving slowly into central Mexico.

 

There's a plan to provide work permits for only the border states of Chiapas and Tabasco. By moving into Oaxaca, they've gone beyond that zone. Big forces are preventing them being stopped it seems.
