"Organized Busing Operation" Exposed, Moving Migrants Closer To US Border

Traveling at a sluggish pace of 10 miles per day, the migrant caravan probably wouldn't arrive at the nearest US border crossing at McAllen, Texas until February, according to one observer, who debunked claims widely circulated by the media that the caravan would arrive before the Nov. 6 midterm election. But as it turns out, the organizations that have been aiding the caravan since it first formed in Honduras nearly three weeks ago have already accounted for this. And to help ensure that images of border patrol agents arresting families and separating small children from their parents are flashing across cable news in the days and hours before the polls open, these groups are employing a new tactic: Busing. That's right. As Fox News report on Tuesday showed, migrants traveling with the caravan are being loaded on to chartered buses and transported to the next stop on the trail to the US, having refused Mexico's offer of asylum, shelter and jobs should they opt to stay in the country. Fox News reporter Griff Jenkins revealed that multiple professional buses have lined up to board the migrants, as footage from the report showed.

As more than 5,000 troops mass on the border and a second caravan crosses into Mexico from Guatemala, Jenkins exposed more than 11 buses carrying some of the migrants organized in the state of Oaxaca. While the buses can't carry every member of the caravan - that would require more than 80 buses, by Fox's count, they can speed members closer to their next stop. Meanwhile, two more caravans in Guatemala and El Salvador.

"Something new that’s developing here," Jenkins said as he wandered the bus loading zone. "We’ve seen the 5,000 strong caravan walking to the border but now they’re waiting for a ride to the border. This is the first time I have seen an organized bus operation from the state of Oaxaca actually getting volunteer buses to put people … on them and take them to their next location."

The buses are just the latest example of the support the migrants have received from local townspeople and organizations from within Mexico, as the country's police and military have largely stood aside despite President Trump's demands that the Mexican government do something to slow or stop the caravan.

That’s very significant now because these towns continue to help them. When we began this way back a week or so – Mexican police were trying to dissuade them from going across the Guatemala-Mexico border. At least some of the towns are assisting them to make their way.

It's unclear who's paying for the buses or when more would be coming (but Jenkins believes more are on their way). However, the motivation behind the campaign should be obvious to anyone who has been paying attention since the first caravan formed. Getting the migrants to the border, where Trump's beefed-up border presence is waiting, is clearly a key component of the Democrats' election strategy (and has taken on increased importance since the Democrats attempts to make the vote about health care have largely foundered). Their logic probably looks something like this. Step 1. Get the migrants to the border in the days before the vote. Step 2. Replay the outrage blitz that followed Trump's order to separate migrant children from their families earlier this year. Step 3. Convince moderates that they would be committing an inhumane act by supporting Republicans. Step 4. (hopefully) victory.

Hundreds Of Google Employees Plan Walkout Over Accused Sexual Deviant's $90 Million Exit Package

Over 200 Google employees will participate in a company-wide walkout Thursday after the New York Times reported that the company paid a $90 million exit package to Android mobile software creator, Andy Rubin, despite sacking 48 people over sexual harassment claims over the last 24 months. The Times report claimed that Rubin coerced a woman into performing oral sex in a hotel room in 2013, and granted his severance package in 2014 after the allegations came to light.

What Google did not make public was that an employee had accused Mr. Rubin of sexual misconduct. The woman, with whom Mr. Rubin had been having an extramarital relationship, said he coerced her into performing oral sex in a hotel room in 2013, according to two company executives with knowledge of the episode. Google investigated and concluded her claim was credible, said the people, who spoke on the condition that they not be named, citing confidentiality agreements. Mr. Rubin was notified, they said, and Mr. Page asked for his resignation. -NYT

And as the Times notes: "Google could have fired Mr. Rubin and paid him little to nothing on the way out. Instead, the company handed him a $90 million exit package, paid in installments of about $2 million a month for four years, said two people with knowledge of the terms. The last payment is scheduled for next month." Google, meanwhile, fired 13 senior managers out of the 48 fired for misconduct, according to BuzzFeed, and "None of these individuals received an exit package."

“Personally, I’m furious,” said one Google employee who requested anonymity. “I feel like there’s a pattern of powerful men getting away with awful behavior towards women at Google‚ or if they don’t get away with it, they get a slap on the wrist, or they get sent away with a golden parachute, like Andy Rubin. And it’s a leadership of mostly men making the decisions about what kind of consequences to give, or not give.” -BuzzFeed

While Google attempted damage control last Thursday with an all-hands meeting, frustrated employees in a group for woman engineers "began upvoting a post on an internal Google forum that suggested employees stage a walkout." By Monday morning, hundreds of co-workers had upvoted it according to a current employee, while those committing to Thursday's walkout has swelled to over 200. Don't be evil?

Actor James Cromwell warns of 'revolution': 'There will be blood in the streets' if Democrats lose

Actor James Cromwell told an audience Sunday night that a violent revolution is coming if Democrats don’t win the midterm elections. “Something is coming up, which is desperately important to this country and to this planet, and that is an election, in which hopefully in some measure we are going to take back our democracy,” Mr. Cromwell, best known for his roles in “The Green Mile” and “Babe,” said in accepting a Carney Award in Santa Monica, California, Variety reported. “We will have a government that represents us and not the donor class,” he continued. “We will cut through the corruption, [and] we won’t have to do what comes next, which is either a nonviolent revolution or a violent one, because this has got to end.” Speaking to Variety on the red carpet before the event, Mr. Cromwell said, “There will be blood in the streets” if President Trump stays in power. “This is nascent fascism. We always had a turnkey, totalitarian state — all we needed was an excuse, and all the institutions were in place to turn this into pure fascism,” he said. “If we don’t stop [President Trump] now, then we will have a revolution for real. Then there will be blood in the streets.” Mr. Cromwell, 78, is a longtime liberal activist who has been arrested multiple times for protesting environmental issues.

Mueller asks FBI to investigate claims women were offered money to say he behaved inappropriately

A spokesman for Robert Mueller said Tuesday that the special counsel's office has asked the FBI to examine claims that women were offered money to say Mueller behaved inappropriately toward them decades ago. The spokesman, Peter Carr, issued a statement saying that "when we learned last week of allegations that women were offered money to make false claims about the special counsel, we immediately referred the matter to the FBI for investigation."

Carr's statement comes as Jack Burkman, a conservative lobbyist, tweeted that Thursday he "will reveal the first of special counsel Robert Mueller's sex assault victims. I applaud the courage and dignity and grace and strength of my client." Burkman gained notoriety when he promoted conspiracy theories regarding the still-unsolved killing in 2016 of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich. Those theories have been disputed by law enforcement officials. The FBI declined to comment.

The strange sequence of events began about two weeks ago, when an email account ostensibly belonging to a Florida woman began contacting reporters claiming that a mysterious individual had offered her money to say Mueller had behaved inappropriately when they worked together in the 1970s. The person sending the emails would not speak on the phone but claimed she was offered tens of thousands of dollars to say negative things about the special counsel, who is investigating Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election and allegations the Trump campaign conspired with those efforts. The person who has been emailing reporters over the past two weeks had said she was told that Burkman was behind the effort to pay those who made allegations against Mueller. "I think I'm the victim of a hoax," Burkman said. "I don't know who that person is and we certainly didn't pay anyone to say anything."

MSNBC Reporter Interviews Latino Texans Who Are Skeptical Of Migrant Caravan, Voting Republican

MSNBC reporter Mariana Atencio traveled to Houston to interview voters in a hotly contested congressional district. Atencio reported Tuesday from the 7th district of Texas where the GOP incumbent John Culberson is facing a big challenge from Democratic opponent Lizzie Fletcher. Atencio noted that hispanics make up 30 percent of the population of the district and have major sway on who is elected there. However, in interviews with Latino voters Atencio was stunned to find that they were voting Republican and had a bad opinion of the migrant caravan heading to the U.S. border. “As you mentioned, the demographics here are changing. Latinos now make up 30% of this district,” Atencio said. “Texas Latinos, if they turn out, – they might not all necessarily turn out Blue.”

Atencio then conducted interviews with Texas Latino voters who said they were voting Republican because of the caravan. “I do believe that if somebody wants to live in the United States, they should go through the official process. So as a result, I tend to ally myself with people who agree with that,” the Texas Latino voter said. “When you see images like the migrant caravan and President Trump talking about the caravan, does that motivate you to want to vote in a certain way?” Atencio asked. The voter responded, “Yes, it makes me want to vote Republican. I think if you want to live in this country, you need to abide by its laws.” “That blows my mind,” the MSNBC host said after the segment.

Planned Parenthood Encourages Birth … for Illegal Aliens

Planned Parenthood – an organization that advocates for abortions of unborn American babies up until the day of birth – apparently is encouraging births for illegal aliens. On Tuesday, the abortion giant said President Donald Trump’s plan for an executive order to eliminate birthright citizenship is “despicable, egregious, unconstitutional.” The irony of the situation was not lost on many Twitter users. Twitchy highlighted some other interesting tweets in response to Planned Parenthood’s sudden interest in birth. “So, you oppose aborting birthright citizenship?” asked conservative radio host Dana Loesch. “Birth right opinions by those that prevent birth,” posted Kane Facts. “What an oxymoron!

During an interview with Axios Tuesday, Trump revealed he is planning to end the birthright citizenship policy – which awards the children of illegal aliens with United States citizenship – by executive order. “It was always told to me that you needed a Constitutional amendment–guess what? You don’t,” Trump said, adding:

Number one, you don’t need that. Number two, you can definitely do it with an act of Congress. But now they’re saying I can do it with just an executive order. Now, how ridiculous–we are the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby, and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States for 85 years with all of those benefits? It’s ridiculous. It’s ridiculous–and it has to end.

Breitbart News reported:

Revoking birthright citizenship would have immediate and far-reaching consequences. It would mean the children of illegal aliens, even if born in the United States, would not be bestowed U.S. citizenship upon birth. It would also likely deter the practice of foreigners having “anchor babies,” where they aim to give birth to children on U.S. soil so as to obtain U.S. citizenship for their children at birth.

“According to a recent Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report, the total anchor-baby population now exceeds the annual number of U.S. citizen births from American citizens,” the report continued.
