Has anyone considered that the caravans are the DS answer to the plans to have national guard and military deployed during the elections?
Bring up 15-20k militrary age men so that the national guard and domestic defense is distracted and the rest of the country's defenses are weak. Allows for greater destruction or if the rumors are true a possible secondary invasion by the UN from the north under the pretense that the US is abusing the human rights of the caravan
Another possible theory I've had is that the good guys are actually causing the caravans, which they can then call an invasion which gives the ability to enact full scale martial law while Clinton and pals are arrested.
it even givens a pretense for restricting communications during the arrests so that word doesn't spread quickly and riots are quashed more easily.
If you look back early in the term Jeff Sessions made a trip to El Salvador, this could have been part of the plan all along
