22 is the most lethal round at long distances. Goes in your shoulder and comes out your knee etc.
I know it doesn't apply here but…
incorrect the 22 has and extremely high velocity out of a rifle. 1.5 miles a second… at close range it would go through you like you weren't even there.
22-250 = 2800 fps
1 mile in 1.8 secs so it is a possibility… some older .22 rifles have some insane rifling.
