Millennials want an Oprah presidency

A recent survey found that, out of 20 celebrities that could be favorites in a presidential run, Oprah Winfrey is the most likely to be considered by Americans.

Winfrey earned almost 20 percent support in the survey, even though she shot down rumors earlier this year saying she would not be making a bid for president in 2020. Millennials were the largest age group to express their interest in a Winfrey run for president.

In the study by People Maven, the 20 celebrities considered were based on how widely recognized the celebrity is and if they were qualified to run for president.

The top three, Winfrey, Tom Hanks, and Dwayne Johnson, took 43 percent of the vote.
