Historical Perspective (personal): Shift from China/UK China/USA focus.

My Context

Zhou Youguang = Inventor of Pinyin (romanized translation of Chinese characters, replaced Wade-Giles(British) translation, Beijing wanted their own translation, not Westerner's).

A relative of his, a Mainland Chinese person still in China, is a personal fren of mine.

During "The Cultural revolution" a Mainland Chinese fren (now American citizen, came to USA in 80's) lived on the streets with a sibling bcuz parents were sent to the country-side for re-education. Both parents college prof's. Mother went to Princeton before WWII.

I was involved in ESL teaching to Mainland Chinese State-side & in China.

I noticed over the last 25+ yrs a shift from British-english being the favored english, to American-english being the favored & sought-after english to learn in Mainland China. Chinese schools ultimately controlled by Beijing (central-planning model).

American-english was the requested accent.

It's making sense to me now.

Putting the map together of the long-term plan, by The Cabal, to replace the USA w/ China; from a 'Strategic' point of view on Beijing's part it makes sense:

• Business, Mfg & Economic Pwr shifting USA China.

• China Infiltrating USA

• USA is the 'Target' of the take-down.

• Know your enemy - What better way than to know the language.

(Important detail) - Idioms are different: British-english v American-english.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it. been turning this over & over in my head.
