Complete Works Of Shakespeare Hidden Inside Twitter Thumbnail Image

A security researcher has demonstrated how he could hide the Complete Works of Shakespeare into an image and use Twitter to distribute it using Steganography.

Steganography is the act of hiding information or messages inside objects that are not themselves secret. This allows people to covertly distribute messages, files, and other types of data in files or data that appear to be non-secretive in nature.

In a recent experiment, security researcher Dаvіd Вucһаnаn created a JPEG image of Shakespeare that also included a RARed copy of his complete works in HTML format. Buchanan went on to further show that this image could also be uploaded to Twitter, which would create a thumbnail that continued to contain the embedded RAR file.

Вucһаnаn was able to do this by creating a script that converted the multi-part RAR file into an ICC profile, which was then embedded into a picture of Shakespeare. ICC profiles are data fields in an image that detail the characteristics and color of an input device, so that the colors are displayed properly when outputted.

As ICC profiles are stored in JPEGs in 64KB chunks, Вucһаnаn decided to use a RAR file as he could split the RAR archive into multiple files that were set to a particular size. In this case, each part of the multi-part RAR file would be set to 64kb.

"ICC profiles are stored in chunks of approximately 64kb," Вucһаnаn told BleepingComputer via Twitter direct message. "So I had to split the data into correspondingly sized chunks and a multi-part RAR archive seemed like a good way to do that"

When asked if he tested this method to distribute malware, he felt it would be more useful as a way of sending secret messages.

Taxpayer Funding of Planned Parenthood Used For Campaign Against Pro-Life Candidates, Lobbying For Taxpayer-Funded Abortions

Live Action released a report on Tuesday detailing how millions of dollars in taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood are allowing it to turn around and spend millions of dollars in the 2018 midterms to elect pro-abortion politicians who will fight against abortion industry regulations and keep the taxpayer funding flowing.

So what does this mean in the scheme of things?

Taxpayer funding frees up donors to direct their money to the political agenda of Planned Parenthood rather than to fun the nominal health services Planned Parenthood itself provides.

The report also proves that over time, despite the fact that Planned Parenthood is providing fewer services for fewer clients at fewer facilities, it continues to receive ever increasing amounts of taxpayer funding, and record amounts of money are being spent by its political arms on elections.

Planned Parenthood’s political arms are poised to spend $20 million on their own and an additional $30 million in a joint effort with three other groups – Color of Change PAC, Center for Community Change Action, and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) – in the midterms both on state and federal offices. On top of the ridiculous amount being spent on midterms, according to its latest annual report, Planned Parenthood and its political arms were able to spend $160 million last year for “public policy” and “movement building” and to “promote healthy equity” and “engage communities” in addition to spending another $85 million on fundraising.

REPORT: The Media Writes 1,656 Times More Political Violence Stories When The “Victim” Is A Leftist

Research by the Media Research Center shows that 91 percent of media coverage of President Donald Trump is negative. But based on research done by watchdog group Far Left Watch, it appears that negativity may extend further than just the president, effecting anybody perceived to be on the right.

Far Left Watch finds that the media is much more likely to cover political violence when the victim is on the left side of the political persuasion, using the recent suspicious packages sent to left-wing targets compared to the toxic ricin letters sent to multiple Republican targets.

As can be seen in the screenshot below, the ricin story, using the name of the alleged sender in the search brings up 2,270 news results, while the suspicious packages brings up 3,760,000 news results.

That means that in this case, the suspicious packages received 1,656 times more coverage in the media.

The toxic ricin letters were sent to the White House and the Pentagon. William Allen of Utah, the alleged sender, has been arrested and taken into custody.

In the suspicious pack case, the sender of the suspicious packages, Cesar Sayoc, has been taken into custody after allegedly sending packages to a number of individuals including former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Vice President Joe Biden, billionaire donor George Soros, Florida Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and California Representative Maxine Waters.

On both sides of the aisle these events have been condemned. But one of them is getting wall-to-wall coverage while another is getting measly coverage in comparison.

Don Lemon Faces Backlash For Saying The ‘Biggest Terror Threat in This Country is White Men’

CNN’s Don Lemon is receiving blowback for remarks he made Monday night.

As Chris Cuomo was handing things off to his colleague, the two of them discussed the recent shooting of two black men in Kentucky, which is now being investigated as a hate crime.

Cuomo noted that he “barely had time to cover” that hate crime because they were “distracted by another extremist,” referring to the horrific shooting at the Pittsburgh synagogue this past weekend.

Lemon responded by speaking broadly about how certain types of people have been often seen as some sort of “threat.”

“I keep trying to point out to people not to demonize any one group or any one ethnicity, but we keep thinking that the biggest terror threat is something else. Some people who are marching towards the border like it’s eminent. And the last they did this, a couple of hundred people came and they, you know, most of them didn’t get into the country. Most of them got tuckered out before they made to the border,” Lemon told Cuomo.
