Going through the Q posts from Nov 1 2017 and found a good

'Helper Anon' reminder that POTUS has authority to us MI/NG to "Repel Invasions".

"Why does the Constitution explicitly grant this authority to the President and what is it to prevent?

Allows the president to enforce US law when those supposed to support US law do not.

Prevent the breakup of the country and keep the Federal, State balance of power

Article I, Section 8; Clause 15, the United States Congress is given the power to pass laws for "calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions." The President of the United States is the commander-in-chief of the state militias "when called into the actual Service of the United States." (Article II, Section 2). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Guard_of_the_United_States

Also the NG can be deployed under title 32 to protect infrastructure. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/12406 read bullets 1,2,3 10 U.S. Code ยง 12406"

From Q23 ANSWERS

Whether or not the caravan represents a real invasion remains to be seen.

I think we can all agree that MI/NG is activated, as foretold 1 year ago (to the day) in Q23 (and many other Q posts before and since).

Almonds also activated.
