I'd never heard of it, so I looked it up.

The PSO is a strainer of bureaucracy designed to double-check (and slow down if desired) the hiring process of the Executive Branch. Somebody needs to call up the people at PSO and ask them WTF, because this is on THEM.

On the up side, weren't we talking about a proposed process to make it easier to get rid of shitty employees over the last week or two?

I figured it worked exactly like it does with state employees: once you get hired, you've pretty much got to open fire on your entire workplace with an AK-47 to get fired. They are some of the laziest, most sullen, overall worthless excuses for human beings I've ever met, with the occasional exception of state park rangers and others who work with little sequestering with other "we-be's" or away from urban offices relatively unsupervised.
