I always get a chubby hard enough to cut diamonds when I see old spectrum analyzers. Actually any kind of old analog electronic equipment does the trick.

same holds true for music equipment and amplifiers. If you want the best, you go back to 50's through the 70's time period and buy from that category. Everything after that was made to be mass produced, and the quality of components turned into chinese bullshit.
I have irreplacable vacuum tubes over here that once they go bad, I will have to go out and spend a bunch of money to get something NOT AS GOOD. It's just weird.
Side note: any anons here with a ham radio license want to recommend a good place to study up for the tests??? is there a decent course anywhere
