REF: Unlawful Domestic Intelligence Collection Activities and Cover-up

Dear Mr. McCullough: In May of 2016, we briefed Mr. Cook and Mr. Matcheson, staff members on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI). We presented them with irrefutable evidence of unlawful domestic intelligence collection activities and a subsequent cover-up by members of the U.S. intelligence community (USIC) also involving congress and the Federal courts. During that meeting, we requested that Senator Burr seek to appoint a special prosecutor to independently investigate the matter but he refused. A copy of our May 16, 2016, letter to the SSCI staff is attached at Exhibit A.
