Do you see a pattern emerging there? They were writing the constitution to protect it's CITIZENS not foreigners.

But I will point out in the preamble of the constitution, it clearly states, "and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves"…notice the OURSELVES. Doesn't say foreigners, doesn't say world, doesn't list off other countries, but OURSELVES. This country and it's citizens.
