Question: Why hasn't POTUS created an Executive Order denying benefits to immigrants - legal or otherwise?? Historically, they were never eligible for benefits until the 90's(not sure whether GHW Bush or Clinton changed it).

When my extended family came, we had to sign for their financial responsibility - medical, housing etc. I am sick and tired of Demonrats comparing today's illegal immigrants to those of yesteryear who helped build this country. Don't get me wrong - I am sure there are many hardworking people still coming over. But can we at least stop offering incentives to the freeloaders?! My father always said "Charity starts at home". Can we first take care of our own before trying to help the world?
