You need to use cold butter from the fridge,
Not from the door cabinet that says butter
But from the main fridge.
You cut the butter in thick slices almost 1/8" thick
The slices have to be the right thickness so they crack as the knife moves through them
Lay them out on top of the bread slice
Then slather with warm peanut butter
Wait a moment for the butter to warm a bit
Then eat.
Much nicer than onion and apple slice sandwiches.
