I have downloaded a number of free fonts for personal graphics work/photo books etc. Here below, are some places to look for fonts you can download, then load into your fonts folder. I have to figure the AI would have trouble with a good number of these. They are works of art in and of themselves. Changing their size, as shown here, changing their arrangement, and multi colored backgrounds behind the words, as seen here would also help. Would have to go through the fonts to pick some good ones, test them out. There are hundreds of font packs on at least 20 different web sites to look at for non commercial use. I have downloaded tons without a problem on both Windows 8 and 10.
