There are indeed papers available for so-called "Stratospheric Aerosol Injection", an example, incl. further references would be:

agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1029/2009GL039209

Of course, I do not know much as to the extent this has been tried already or is being practiced by certain agencies (secret or not). But I have $10 that says that if there's a paper about it, then it had (at least) been tried.

No reason of course, to go as crazy as some of the "chemtrail-hysterical" people – at least not until one knows more about it & has hard data to analyze.

Specifically, Q hasn't mentioned any of this, so actually it doesn't even belong here on /qresearch/….

I know, and given the startegic importance weather has for the military, it is only logical. However, that all more in the troposphere (where "weather" happens) – shielding sunlight would probably be more effective higher up (Stratosphere starts at about 10 km at mid-latitudes).

But like I said: Nothing for /qresearch/ actually – seen enough of what this kind of "half-knowledge" mixed with hysteria can do ….
