Georgia ā€œLosesā€ Over 5,000 Ballots After Judge Orders Halt Of Voter Purge

Mike Papantonio: Late last week, a judge ruled that the state of Georgia can no longer throw out provisional ballots due to signature mismatches, giving us a little hope that maybe the election process in Georgia might not be as corrupt as we thought. I donā€™t know. I looked at this story. Hereā€™s what theyā€™re doing. Theyā€™re looking at ballot A, then theyā€™re looking at a signature by the person who signed ballot A. Theyā€™re saying, ā€œWell, it doesnā€™t match perfectly, so Iā€™m going to throw it out.ā€ Now, these arenā€™t handwriting experts. These are people, you know, Billy Bob, working in the election office saying, ā€œWell, it just doesnā€™t look like the same thing to me.ā€ Whatā€™s your take on it?

Farron Cousins: What weā€™re seeing happen in Georgia right now is absolutely just kind of the culmination of years of everybody ignoring voter purges, voter intimidation, all of that, and this is what happens. Every time, they kind of stretch it a little bit further. This signature mismatch issue where they were throwing out hundreds and hundreds of ballots is absolutely just the next evolution of this kind of voter suppression. You got a very tight race for governor happening in Georgia right now.

Mike Papantonio: Yeah.

Farron Cousins: Thereā€™s been a lot of people already purged from the voting rolls. But you got to take it a step further. This is, like you said, just regular people working in the office looking, ā€œWell, is this the same? Well, itā€™s probably the same, but they dotted their I a little different here. So, yeah, throw it out.ā€ But hereā€™s the kicker. After the judge ruled you canā€™t throw these out anymore, you have to count them, a day or two later, the election officials came out and said, ā€œWeā€™ll count them, but weā€™ve lost them now. Weā€™ve lost over 5,000 of them at this point.ā€

Mike Papantonio: Yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah.

Farron Cousins: ā€œAnd we donā€™t know where they are.ā€

Mike Papantonio: This is Florida all over again.

Farron Cousins: Yeah. It is.

Mike Papantonio: Georgia looks at what happened in Florida, what, eight years ago. They got away with it. They scammed the system. Here, I thought it was interesting. Okay, 37% of all of the ballots across the state that were thrown out, 37% came from the one county. Now, right on its face that says, ā€œMaybe thereā€™s a problem here.ā€ But I think the real story here, and I love this part of the story, is that you have lawyers, organizations, the bar, for example, part of the bar organization in Georgia said, ā€œThis isnā€™t right. Weā€™re going to take it head on,ā€ and at least made it public. The argument is not that many ballots have been thrown out, but we donā€™t know the answer to that.

Farron Cousins: Right.

Mike Papantonio: Thatā€™s their argument. We didnā€™t really throw that many ballots out, so we donā€™t really know how bad all of this is going to affect the election process.

Farron Cousins: Right. Weā€™re also looking at the Secretary of State, Brian Kemp, who happens to also be the Republican candidate for governor.

Mike Papantonio: Yeah.

Farron Cousins: He also says about these lost ballots, ā€œTheyā€™re not lost. We havenā€™t lost any.ā€ Okay, well, where are they? You have to count them. ā€œWell, they donā€™t exist.ā€ There are so many conflicting stories.

Mike Papantonio: Yeah.

Farron Cousins: But weā€™ve had great journalists working on it. Greg Palast working with other great organizations there in Georgia trying to create accountability.

Mike Papantonio: Hopefully, the same thing will happen in Georgia that happened in Florida. We took a real close look at it and there were some really, really ugly things taking place.

BROWARD COUNTY:

Itā€™s quite significant that Fort Lauderdale, the true epicenter of Broward County intrigues and conspiracies, is the de facto LGBTQ capital of the USA, if not the world. The far-reaching ramifications of this factoid ought to be self-evident in view of the targets and intended repercussions of each false flag terror operation that originates there. Broward County is well-known for being a deep blue Democrat stronghold for decades. Itā€™s also a unique melting pot of wealthy liberal Jews, rich Saudi sheikhs, Jeffrey Epstein wannabes, offshore Financiers, Muslim moneymen, ex-Special Forces mercenaries, Sayanim politicos like Debbie Wasserman Schultz and MOSSAD-controlled lawmen like Sheriff Scott Israel.

Chinaā€™s ā€œSocial Credit Systemā€ Will Rate How Valuable You Are as a Human

What people can and can't do will depend on how high their "citizen score" is.

In a contentious world first, China plans to implement a social credit system (officially referred to as a Social Credit Score or SCS) by 2020. The idea first appeared in a document from the State Council of China published in June 2014. It is a technological advancement so shocking to modern-minded paradigms that many can do little but sit back in defeatist chagrin as science fiction shows us its darker side.

The SCS seems relatively simple. Every citizen in China, which now has numbers swelling to well over 1.3 billion, would be given a score that, as a matter of public record, is available for all to see. This citizen score comes from monitoring an individualā€™s social behavior ā€” from their spending habits and how regularly they pay bills, to their social interactions ā€” and itā€™ll become the basis of that personā€™s trustworthiness, which would also be publicly ranked.

This actually sounds worse than an Orwellian nightmare.

A citizenā€™s score affects their eligibility for a number of services, including the kinds of jobs or mortgages they can get, and it also impacts what schools their children qualify for. In this respect, the SCS resembles one of the most chilling episodes from Black Mirrorā€™s third season. Incidentally, the show isnā€™t really known as a ā€œfeel-goodā€ flick. It presents various dystopian views of society, but Chinaā€™s SCS proves reality is darker than fiction.

This ā€œserviceā€ isnā€™t slated to go full-swing until 2020, but China has already started a voluntary implementation of the SCS by partnering with a number of private companies in order to iron out the algorithmic details needed for such a large-scale, data-driven system.

The companies that are working in this respect include China Rapid Finance, which is a partner of social network giant Tencent, and Sesame Credit, a subsidiary of Alibaba affiliate company Ant Financial Services Group (AFSG). Both Rapid Finance and Sesame Credit have access to intimidating quantities of data, the former through its WeChat messaging app (at present with 850 million active users) and the latter through its AliPay payment service.

According to local media, Tencentā€™s SCS comes with its QQ chat app, where an individualā€™s score comes in a range between 300 and 850 and is broken down into five sub-categories: social connections, consumption behavior, security, wealth, and compliance.

On 12/29/12, President Obama signed HR 4310, the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act. Section 1078 (thomas.loc. gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c112:H.R.4310:) of the bill authorizes the use of propaganda inside the US, which had previously been banned since 1948 when the Smith-Mundt Act was passed.

History of Section 1078:

1) First version of NDAA is proposed, does not include domestic propaganda legislation (3/29/12)

2) Domestic propaganda legislation introduced by Rep. Thornberry as stand-alone legislation not related to NDAA, HR 5736, entitled ā€˜Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012.ā€™ Defeated in committee vote. (5/10/12)

3) Exact text of HR 5736 introduced as Section 1097 of third version of NDAA, which was approved by the house. House sends bill to Senate. Section 1097 is entitled ā€˜Dissemination Abroad of Information about the United States.ā€™ The text of this Section 1097 is virtually identical to that of HR 5736, except one word is removed (see below)*. (5/18/12)

4) NDAA referred to Senate. Section 1097 appears in fourth version of bill, ā€˜Referred in Senateā€™ version. In this version, there is a Section 1078, listed as ā€˜Authority for Corps of Engineers to Construct Projects Critical to Navigation Safetyā€™ (6/19/12)

5) Section 1097 does not appear ā€˜Public Printā€™ version, nor does Section 1078. There is no section regarding ā€˜Dissemination Abroad of Information.ā€™ (12/4/12)

6) In, ā€˜Engrossed Amendment Senateā€™ version, Section 1097 reappears as ā€˜Transportation of Individuals to and from Facilities of Department of Veterans Affairs.ā€™ There is no section regarding ā€˜Dissemination Abroad of Information.ā€™ (12/12/12)

7) Final version of bill is returned to House and Senate for re-approval. Section 1097 does not appear, and the ā€˜Transportation of Individualsā€™ clause does not appear elsewhere in the bill. Section 1078 reappears, now entitled ā€˜Dissemination Abroad of Information about the United States.ā€™ The text of this Section 1078 is identical to the text of Section 1097 from the third version of the bill discussed in point #3. (12/21/12)

8) Obama signs this final version of HR 4310. (12/29/12)

Below Iā€™m going to paste the important parts of the bill:

SEC. 1097. DISSEMINATION ABROAD OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE UNITED STATES.

(a) United States Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 [aka Smith-Mundt Act of 1948, which banned domestic propaganda]- Section 501 of the United States Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 (22 U.S.C. 1461) is amended to read as follows:

SEC. 208. CLARIFICATION ON DOMESTIC DISTRIBUTION OF PROGRAM MATERIAL

(a) In General- No funds authorized to be appropriated to the Department of State or the Broadcasting Board of Governors shall be used to influence public opinion in the United States. This section shall apply only to programs carried out pursuant to the United States Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 (22 U.S.C. 1431 et seq.), the United States International Broadcasting Act of 1994 (22 U.S.C. 6201 et seq.), the Radio Broadcasting to Cuba Act (22 U.S.C. 1465 et seq.), and the Television Broadcasting to Cuba Act (22 U.S.C. 1465aa et seq.). This section shall not prohibit or delay the Department of State or the Broadcasting Board of Governors from providing information about its operations, policies, programs, or program material, or making such available, to the media, public, or Congress, in accordance with other applicable law.

(b) Rule of Construction- Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit the Department of State or the Broadcasting Board of Governors from engaging in any medium or form of communication, either directly or indirectly, because a United States domestic audience is or may be thereby exposed to program material, or based on a presumption of such exposure. Such material may be made available within the United States and disseminated, when appropriate, pursuant to sections 502 and 1005 of the United States Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 (22 U.S.C. 1462 and 1437), except that nothing in this section may be construed to authorize the Department of State or the Broadcasting Board of Governors to disseminate within the United States any program material prepared for dissemination abroad on or before the effective date of the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012.
