I’ve been saying to everyone who’s been asking me, the states to watch, the close races? The ones Trump will visit in the last week.
2) The Republicans have quadrupled their ground game. They’re outraising the Dems. Individual races may not be getting a lot, but the Republicans aren’t playing the individual races game. The GOP has adopted…
Strategery.
3) Think. How do you beat a party who’s stated goal is to retake the House? How do you counter a strategy which millionaires and billionaires are dumping tens of millions into individual races?
4) Well, think about it. The Dems are focusing on individual races. Individual candidates. Specific segments of the country. A bit like trying to win via the electoral college, fighting state by state.
5) After all, midterms are supposed to be low-turnout affairs for independents, you get out your base, and whoever got the most of their base out wins.
6) Trump spent this season turning the midterms into a national race, one won by the popular vote.
7) That’s right. The Dems spent months focused on the wrong thing.
The DNC floundered and flailed with funding, while races like Beta’s took in record levels of cash and refused to share.
8) The GOP is blasting out national ads daily, and turned it into a jury-rigged presidential race, Trump vs Pelosi.

Polling and data operations thanks to Trump’s sharing of voter info that let them pinpoint hotspots.
9) By the time the Dems realized that they had just spent months playing the wrong game, McConnell slammed the door shut on them and kept the Senate in session, denying the Dems the opportunity to campaign while Trump held rallies and kept the race going on the national level.
10) The GOP is going to make out like BANDITS in 4 days, thanks to the simplest principle in strategery.
Do not play by your opponent’s batteplan. Make them play by yours.
11) The Democrats had no doubt arranged with their affiliates to send mobs of migrants up north. But the Republicans knew they were coming and already knew how to capitalize on it; why do you think NPCs were blaming the GOP for the caravan?

13) In a normal midterm year, the caravans would become a wedge issue, and Dems would have talking points ready while the GOP floundered. THAT was the left’s plan.

Australia has been engaged in the highest level of PLA collaboration among Five Eyes countries per capita, at six times the level in the US. Nearly all PLA scientists sent abroad are Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members who return to China on time.
Dozens of PLA scientists have obscured their military affiliations to travel to Five Eyes countries and the European Union, including at least 17 to Australia, where they work in areas such as hypersonic missiles and navigation technology. Lack of announcement may reflect leaders’ busy schedule but uncertainty persists over country’s direction and its response to economic headwinds
This autumn meeting has often been the stage to unveil major reform programmes
Analysts said the likely delay of the Central Committee meeting – expected to focus on mid to long-term economic policies – might suggest a lack of consensus among the Chinese leadership over how to battle the growing headwinds facing the world’s second-largest economy.
The autumn plenum that comes a year after the party’s national congress is largely seen as the most important full meeting of the party’s roughly 400-strong political elite, who gather behind closed doors at least once a year.
In recent decades, it was often an occasion when Chinese leaders revealed major reform programmes and new economic blueprints.
“But now, the ordinary Chinese people have started to lose hope on China’s economic development.”
Beijing might also be waiting for the results of the US midterm elections and the meeting between Xi and US President Donald Trump at the G20 summit in Buenos Aires to make a better assessment, he added.
“The key factor that has led to the change of the situation China faces in the past year is the US factor,” he said. “It is hard for the Chinese leadership to make concrete responses given all the uncertainties at the moment.”
But Beijing-based political commentator Zhang Lifan said that even if Trump’s Republicans suffered losses in the midterm elections, Washington would not necessarily relax its pressure on China.
“[Beijing] might be deferring [the plenum] … and waiting for the midterm results,” Zhang said. “But I doubt it would have much impact. Suppressing China is a bipartisan consensus.”
