I am 20 miles from downtown and my neighborhood has rat infestation problem. I just went through a two gallon bucket of bar bait (anti coagulent formula) and have knocked down the rats in my yard. We cut down palm trees and removed ice plant. I will continue to put out bait indefinitely. Interestingly all the animal activists are aghast and say “get a cat”. There are too many rats in the area for ten cats to kill and the coyotes eat all the cats anyway. Coyotes are protected so strong hunch we have been seeded with rats.
