LONDON (Reuters) - London’s Heathrow Airport said on Wednesday it was dealing with “a serious accident” involving two vehicles on its airfield.

The airport, Europe’s biggest, was trying to minimise disruption to passengers, it said.

“We are working closely with the emergency services and updates will follow,” a spokeswoman for the airport said.

“The airfield remains open and we will work to minimise disruption to our passengers’ journeys.”

British media reported passengers had been evacuated from planes after the accident.

Change their minds' Billionaire Richard Branson joins Soros in latest bid to STOP Brexit

BILLIONAIRE Richard Branson called on MPs to vote against the withdrawal bill at the end of the Brexit negotiations despite polls showing the majority of British people would still vote to Leave.

Richard Branson, the founder of the Virgin Group, said he hopes MPs will change their mind at the last minute and revert Brexit.

Other billionaires have also tried to stop Britain exiting from the EU. The founder of Open Society, George Soros, donated a total of £500,000 to anti-Brexit group Best for Britain in an attempt to thwart Brexit.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Mr Branson said he is concerned Brexit will be a disaster for both the UK and Europe.

He said: “I’ve been an open book as far as Brexit is concerned. I thought it was a disaster for the UK, very sad for Europe.
