Q said that we would need to get the original still photo from the DSLR camera.

 

Q felt no video capture in public realm could offer the resolution needed to accurately read the screens.

 

Photog was determined, worked for Getty, but Getty not releasing image.

 

Some Getty people posted, explaining why, but mostly a roundaround IMO.

 

Question is, Since I've seen exif data that didn't list the lens (it should), what zoom level was the photog shooting, and if a high zoom, why the close up pics of screens?

 

I could see if he was shooting a series for a gigapixel panorama, but otherwise?

 

Q's question wrt what's on screen may be a hint to question why those shots (if big zoom) were taken in the first place.

 

They would have to use image editors to wipe any personal stuff before publishing, adding work, so why the detail at that level in the first place?
