That is an important question but I'll answer with a phrase I've coined, "denial is the scariest tool ever devised by man."
The most aggravating aspect of denial is that there is literally nothing you can do, if someone simply denies what you are saying.
Even if what you are saying is 100% factually based, if someone denies it–there's nothing you can do about it. Sad really.
