I had a weird experience when I went to a lecture given by one of the high-up MD mucky mucks from Maharishi. I need glasses, but I try not to wear them. I'm sitting in a smallish classroom where the lecture was given, it might have been at Harvard, and I can't remember what prompted me, but I was alternating listening to this guy with and without my glasses. I don't remember which way it went, but one way he was a sincere, informative speaker, the other way he was a manipulative snake in the grass.
