But I see resistance, there are people like Salvini who make the first bold moves. I can only hope others across Europe follow and double down instead of comply for fear of being called names like Nazi or Gestapo. Anything right of center or conservatism is socially being cast into the dark caves of conspiracies and fascism. When I listen to youtube or podcasts opposing the UN migration compact, I close the window for fear of neighbours hearing that and at some stage maybe having a swastika sprayed on my garage door. It reminded me of Germany in the thirties, or plain and simply 1984.

There are narratives creeping up in our media that I know only from US-media, such as "old white men" and "white supremacy" and of course "open borders". With the term "open borders" not even translated, just the original english term. It's terrifying

When I mention that I admire Mr. Trump I get looked at as if I'm a lunatic. They don't take you serious anymore after that. BTW: It's funny to well meaningly and in awe call a foreigner a patriot. But that is what our planet needs, no matter which nation you belong to. To identify with the well intended values and traditions that makes your very country so unique and distinguishable. The only form of "globalism" I support with every fibre in my body.
