Irelandfag here (on a VPN). Situation is the same - which party is clean or how do we start to oragnise? Some of my friends are at the stage of realising that the ECB & central banks are bleeding us dry, and think that interventions in Iraq & Libya were wrong, but that's as far down the rabbit hole as they've gone… despite the priest paedophilia scandals, Magdalene laundries and Tuam babies

Virtually all the parties have skeletons in their closets, are all implicated in various tribunals (which cost the taxpayers a ton, result in no prosecutions and give the lawyers plenty of fees…),

Police force has it's elements too - look at how whistleblowers get treated.

Our ex-garda commissioner just got a plum UN job after retirement… (and our army all serve in the UN all the time)

Small businesses are squeezed out and kept in court for decades with legal roadblocks, so that they essentially can't have their day in court (see CRH as a great example - set up concrete cartels across europe, and has fingers in the US)

And swathes of property and land are being sold off to vulture funds like Cerberus. Crazy societally when you think that getting our land back with independence, and absentee landlords under colonialism have historically been such emotive issues here (although we are all drinking fluoridated water). Our social housing systems and health services are falling apart…

I have no idea who in this country is remotely clean any more. All of this stuff is public domain, but no one gets put out of office, nobody resigns, nobody loses their pensions. Jail time? Don't make me laugh…
