Paranoid Turkey Claims "Greece, Israel, & Egypt Are Part Of Khashoggi's Murder Plot"

As we noted previously, the conflict over gas in the eastern Mediterranean is intensifying. The dispute concerns gas blocks, with Turkey furious about the energy cooperation of these Greece, Cyprus, and Egypt in the East Mediterranean Sea. While Turkish warships have been active, it appears Turkey is taking a new approach to this hybrid war.

As KeepTalkingGreece.com reports, a new Turkish narrative, based on paranoia and conspiracy theories, has been launched claiming that Greece, Israel and Egypt are part of the murder plot of Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi, presumably in an effort to garner global opinion against their energy-hording neighbors.

This unbelievable allegation has been claimed by Erdogan’s close aide Yigit Bulut, who is famous for his delirium and ravings, during an appearance on state television of Turkey.

“Greece, Israel and Egypt are part of murder plot involving slain Saudi Arabia journalist Khashoggi in Istanbul,” Yigit Bulut said in TRT Television, where he is a frequent guest.

Enlisting the ‘good old traditional perception’ that Turkey is surrounded by enemies, KeepTalkingGreece notes that Bulut said:

“a belt extending from Europe to Israel has always harbored hostility towards Turkey they never wanted Turks in this region. Europe even made Turks to fight unnecessary wars against Russia.”

It is worth noting that Russia and Turkey have come closer recently due to Syria, a cooperation sealed with armament sales to Ankara triggering the anger of US and the NATO of which Turkey is a member.

Bulut vowed that Turkey will continue oil and gas exploration in the East Mediterranean off-shore Cyprus.

‘Slow assassination’: Julian Assange’s mother’s emotional speech about son’s embassy ordeal

The mother of WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange fears her son is in “immediate and critical danger” after spending nearly six years in limbo inside the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where his health has sharply deteriorated.

As fears for Assange’s health have grown, his mother Christine spoke about how her son is undergoing a “slow and cruel assassination” in an online vigil dubbed #ReconnectJulian on Saturday.

“The modern-day cage for political prisoners is no longer the Tower of London, it is the Ecuadorian Embassy,” she said, adding that her son has been detained for nearly eight years without charge, “cut off from all contact” and “tortured in the heart of London.”

“For the past six years the UK government has refused his request to access to basic health needs, fresh air, exercise, sunshine for Vitamin D, and access to proper medical and dental care. As a result, his health has seriously deteriorated,” she added.

GA Secy of State office announces probe of alleged hacking attempt into voter registration system

The office of Georgia’s Secretary of State Brian Kemp – the Republican candidate for governor – has announced it is investigating a “failed attempt to hack the state’s voter registration system.”

Kemp’s office also named the Georgia Democratic Party, but offered no details on why it’s included in the probe, which was reportedly opened Saturday evening.

“While we cannot comment on the specifics of an ongoing investigation, I can confirm that the Democratic Party of Georgia is under investigation for possible cyber crimes,” press secretary Candice Broce wrote in a news release. “We can also confirm that no personal data was breached and our system remains secure.”

The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI were also alerted, Broce stated.

What was the response?

The Georgia Democratic Party responded Sunday with a statement that the “scurrilous claims are 100 percent false.” It also called the investigation “another example of abuse of power” by Kemp.

“This political stunt from Kemp just days before the election is yet another example of why he cannot be trusted and should not be overseeing an election in which he is also a candidate for governor,” the state party’s executive director, Rebecca DeHart, wrote in a statement.

During a CNN interview, Georgia’s Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams said the investigation is an attempt to distract voters two days before the election.

“I’ve heard nothing about it, and my reaction would be that this is a desperate attempt on the part of my opponent to distract people from the fact that two different federal judges found him derelict in his duties and have forced him to accept absentee ballots to be counted and those who are being held captive by the exact match system to be allowed to vote,” Abrams told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

“He is desperate to turn the conversation away from his failures, from his refusal to honor his commitments and from the fact that he’s part of a nationwide system of voter suppression that will not work in this election because we’re going to outwork him, we’re going to out vote him and we’re going to win,” Abrams said.

What else is happening?

On Friday, a federal judge ruled that Georgia must allow more than 3,000 people to vote in Tuesday’s midterm elections after they were originally barred under the state’s so-called exact match law, USA Today reported.

The case was prompted by concerns that Kemp, who also heads the state’s election system, was “purging voters from the rolls and a new exact match voting law was targeting minorities,” the report states.

Kemp is in a tight race against Abrams who would become the first black female governor in the nation’s history.

A recent poll by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution shows Kemp and Abrams “locked in a dead heat,” the news outlet reported.

“The explosive 11th hour development Sunday intensified calls for Kemp to step aside as the state’s top election official even as he runs for Georgia’s top political post,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution stated.”Throughout the campaign he has refused to do so.”

Mexico Says Nearly 3,000 Migrants Have Abandoned The 'Migrant Caravan'

The caravan is now down to around 4,000 migrants.

The so-called "migrant caravan" snaking its way through Mexico towards the United States' southern border once swelled to nearly 10,000 members, but Mexico now says that, after offering asylum and work permits to the thousands of economic refugees from Honduras and Guatemala, only around 4,000 migrants remain.

The Washington Examiner reports that "nearly 3,000" migrants have abandoned the caravan in recent days, flouting their leaders' suggestion that they resist accepting asylum and temporary work authorization in Mexico and press forward to the U.S. border.

"Mexico's Interior and Foreign Ministries reported, as of Thursday, 2,934 people originally traveling to the U.S. have stopped and applied for asylum in Mexico," the Examiner says. "Of those, 927 have canceled their asylum claim with the Mexican government and returned to Guatemala and Honduras, where the caravans originated, according to a government news release."

Two departments of the Mexican government – the Federal police and Mexico's office of migrant services – are helping to take those who decide to cancel their request home, the Examiner reports, giving free rides back to the Guatemalan border for anyone who decides to abandon the caravan and return home. The rest of the immigrants are being processed through Mexico's Department of Refugee Aid.

The 2,000 migrants claiming asylum in Mexico will be allowed to wait in-country until the Mexican government processes their claims, a wait of between 45 and 90 days. Mexico will not allow the migrants to simply run free in a catch-and-release type program, however; the 1,553 migrants awaiting an asylum hearing will remain in temporary shelters located just over Mexico's border with Guatemala.

An additional 478 migrants are being held in a United Nations-manned shelter nearby.

The "migrant caravan" demanding asylum in the United States has run into trouble in recent days. Earlier this week it was forced to stop as group leaders investigated crimes – including child abductions – being committed in the group's midst. Additionally, hot weather and lack of water and basic supplies forced some members of the caravan to seek shelter and help from Mexican authorities, even though the group's leadership turned down a formal offer of temporary asylum from the Mexican government days before, forcing the group to move on.

The group, which was once between 7,000 and 10,000 members strong is now down to just under 4,000. At the moment, the caravan is reportedly crossing through the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca, still more than a thousand miles from the closest official border crossing.

President Donald Trump has been using the migrant caravan as an example of the threat illegal immigration poses to the U.S.'s southern border, often forcing Democrats to take the position that the caravan's members should be allowed to cross into the United States en masse and without prior approval or investigation.

Members of the caravan sued the Trump Administration on Friday, demanding pre-approval for asylum claims, before the group encounters the Customs and Border Patrol at an official U.S. border crossing – the only place where the migrants can legally make claims of asylum.

Disabled Vet Can't Vote After NBC Sets Up Camera In Handicapped Parking Space, Refuses To Move

A disabled Air Force veteran says an MSNBC news crew blocked his way into a polling site in Houston when it parked in a handicapped parking spot.

"Went to vote, and found this waiting for us," James Berrie, who has multiple sclerosis, wrote on Facebook. "The only van accessible spot and they’re filming in it. We asked them to move, pointed out how it was wrong, then went to vote, because it takes time to load up. But came out and still there. Not even packing up, still getting ready for their shot."

They claimed they had a live shot, so Sarah walked into the shot. They cut the feed and got pissed. Fortunately other people joined in, plus firefighters who where there for Prop B. We finally left once their van was loaded. But there were plenty of witnesses and pictures/video taken by others.

This is suppression. If I couldn’t park I couldn’t vote. Their van had no handicap placards. And this happens all the time. Handicap spots are not loading zones for gear and equipment. Figure something else out. Especially at a public event where people are going to need the spots. This is not ok, and the station needs to be made aware. All of them.

EDIT: This is a very big election this year. News will be out in force, now and until the general. The media needs to be aware. Call them out if you see this.

Berrie also said in a TV interview with a CBS News affiliate that the MSNBC crew kept telling him they would move shortly.

“'We’ll move in like three minutes. We’re going live. We’ve got a shot. We’re going live in like three minutes. We gotta do this,' and we’re just like, 'No. You have to move. It’s not right. You know it’s not right,'" Berrie told the affiliate.

MSNBC reporter Mariana Atencio later apologized on Twitter for the incident.

“We made the wrong call today by using a disabled parking spot for our live shot in TX,” she wrote. “There’s no excuse. I apologize to the two people who were on their way to vote as it’s one of the most important parts of our democracy; we’d never want to jeopardize anyone’s ability to do so.”

Former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, who also worked at MSNBC earlier in her career, blasted the liberal network.

Salvini to Save 400 Million Euros by Cutting Migrant Daily Allowance

Populist Italian interior minister Matteo Salvini is expected to drastically cut the daily allowance for migrants in Italy, with claims the country could see savings of up to 400 million euros by 2019.

The proposal would see the current daily allowance of 35 euros per day per migrant cut almost in half to 19 euros per day, which would be one of the lowest rates in western Europe, Il Giornale reports.

According to the Interior Ministry, the cuts would lead to a saving of 400 million euros in 2019, rising to 500 million in 2020 and 600 million in the years thereafter.

The move would be part of the broader migration and security decree released by Salvini in late September, which also banned residency permits for so-called humanitarian reasons. Migrants will now be classified into two groups: those with recognized asylum claims and those without.

Those with refugee status and recognized underage migrants will have broader access to funding and government programmes.

Since coming into power, Salvini has managed to greatly reduce the number of migrants coming into Italy by closing Italian ports to migrant rescue NGO vessels who have been accused in the past of co-operating with people smugglers.

After largely dealing with the issue of migrants entering Italy illegally, Salvini has since set his sights on deportations of existing illegals. Earlier this week he announced a new plan to invest 12 million euros to fund the deportation of at least 2,700 illegals starting in February and ending in 2021.

One of the arguments espoused by pro-mass migration open borders advocates has been using mass migration to counter the falling birthrates in western European nations.

Salvini has made his opposition to so-called replacement migration clear, saying: “I believe that I’m in government in order to see that our young people have the number of children that they used to a few years ago, and not to transplant the best of Africa’s youth to Europe.”

In order to convince Italians to have more children, the government has even offered free farmland to couples having three or more children.

60 Migrants Found in Stash Houses in One Day near Texas Border

Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector discovered more than 60 illegal aliens, mostly from Central America, in stash houses near the Texas border with Mexico on November 1. The agents found the migrants in two separate incidents.

Rio Grande City Station Border Patrol agents received a call from the Roma, Texas, Police Department requesting assistance. The local police received a tip about a house being used to warehouse a group of migrants who had recently crossed the border illegally from Mexico, according to information provided to Breitbart News by Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol officials.

The agents responded to the area and met with the local police officers before moving on to the suspected human stash house. Roma police officers approached the residence and carried out a “welfare check” to see if there was any trouble in the home. After making entry into the home, officers and agents found 49 suspected illegal aliens packed into the small house.

Border Patrol agents conducted an immigration interview and determined the 49 migrants entered the U.S. illegally from the countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua, officials stated. Agents said the group consisted of men, women, and children.

The agents place all of the migrants in custody and transported them to the Rio Grande City Station for processing.

Cartel-connected smugglers use stash houses to stage large quantities of what they regard as human cargo after they illegal cross them into the U.S. from Mexico, officials previously told Breitbart News. The smugglers then schedule a time to move the migrants north to attempt to circumvent inland Border Patrol immigration checkpoints.

Frequently the smugglers will violently attack the migrants and hold them for ransom in order to extract additional smuggling fees before moving north. Men are frequently beaten and robbed, officials stated, while females are often locked into separate rooms where they can be abused or raped by the smugglers as a method of intimidation.

A few hours after the initial find, Border Patrol agents teamed up with Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and police officers from the city of Hidalgo, Texas, to shut down another human smuggling operation. This time, smugglers chose a motel room to stash 10 illegal aliens.

The law enforcement team entered the motel room and found 10 migrants stashed inside. The Border Patrol agents conducted an immigration interview and learned the migrants were all from the country of China.

Two days earlier, Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents raided another motel being used as a warehouse for human cargo. The agents assigned to teh Joint Taskforce West, South Texas Corridor Joint Targeting Team teamed up with DPS troopers and officers from the Laredo Police Department to carry out the raid.

The agents found 10 illegal aliens from a wide variety of countries stashed inside the small room, Laredo Sector officials said in a written statement. Agents said the group was composed of three Mexican nationals, one Salvadoran, two Hondurans, two Brazilians, and two from Nicaragua.

All of the migrants will be processed according to their respective sector’s policies.

It’s a parody of some of the shows on Israeli state Educational TV, especially in the ’60s and ’70s (some of the sketches are even in black and white, for added effect). The messages are unashamedly racist (against Arabs, Mizrahim, Christians, etc.), chauvinist and violent, holding up a mirror to Israeli society as it were (albeit from a safe distance – placing such attitudes somewhere in the past). The show’s creator describes its political orientation as ‘socialist-pacifist’.

Note: Mizrahim are Mizrahi Jews, also called Oriental or Sephardic Jews. Unlike Ashkenazi Jews — who make up 90% of Jews in the world and are descended from European Jews who, in turn, descended from Turkic Khazars in the Caucasus who had converted to Judaism in the 8th century — Mizrahi/Sephardic Jews descended from local Jewish communities of the Middle East from biblical times into the modern era. In other words, unlike the Ashkenazi fake Jews, Mizrahi Jews may actually be biological descendants of the ancient Hebrews.

Egypt says 19 militants killed in security operation after attack on Christians

Egyptian security forces killed 19 militants from a cell believed to be responsible for an attack on Christians in Minya province in central Egypt in which seven people died, the interior ministry said on Sunday.

Security forces killed the suspects in a firefight after a chase in a mountainous area of the desert west of Minya governorate, the ministry said in a statement.

It did not say when the gun battle took place, nor did it mention any casualties among security forces.

Daesh claimed responsibility for Friday’s attack in Minya when gunmen targeted two buses near the Monastery of St. Samuel the Confessor, 260 km (160 miles) south of Cairo. The dead included six members of the same family.

Islamic State did not provide any evidence to back up its claim of responsibility, one of several in recent years as Egypt’s Christian minority has been repeatedly targeted.

The ministry said the suspects were on the run from security forces when national security intelligence identified their location.

“The area was raided and when it was surrounded the terrorist elements opened fire at the forces, which obliged them to deal with the source of the firing,” it said in the statement.

Security forces recovered weapons including automatic and semi-automatic rifles, shotguns and ammunition, the ministry said.

There had been a lull in major attacks since December, when a gunman attacked a church and a Christian-owned shop near Cairo.
