FWIW, the Federal Government observes Veterans' Day on Monday Nov. 12. That means if anything goes down, most federal offices (and financial institutions) will be closed for the holiday. Also, lots of smaller newspapers don't publish on federal holidays. Less obstruction? An extra day to tie up loose strings and clean up the mess?
