I think the whole thing will tie back to Priestap’s wife’s (Sabrina Menschel) security firm being the group that does the background checks for FBI. Would explain why the WH sec checks take so long and the sudden extra info on Porter got leaked to media. Just my theory in keeping with the sleight-of-hand stuff we have been seeing.
