Some sad news to share with Georgia anons:
Retired State Supreme Court Justice Harris Hines was killed in a car accident this afternoon.
I don't want to suggest in any way this was suspicious. Am personally acquainted, as are MANY people, with this gentleman and family.
Sincerely sad. He did a great deal for Marietta, Cobb County, and the state and was beloved and respected by all.
Pretty soon I'm just going to be a weeping mess of happiness.

No, I really don't believe there is anything nefarious about it. His own campaigns for lower judgeships were clean and for the most part, unopposed. He was very well liked.
Just a terrible, tragic accident.
