Something like this ought to have been photographed many times by many people. It's iconic. So the difficulty we are having finding it is strange.

This is not the standard Russian or Byzantine/Greek two-header eagle. This one is holding the Earth with it right talons. There is something sinister about that. So I wonder if it is in a non-public place, the sort that would usually discourage photography. I don't think it's an orthodox church.

The double-headed eagle is from the near-east is used by the Greek and Russian orthodox churches. It's found all over eastern europe.

But I can't find any other examples of it gripping the world as it is here.
