Agree anon. Used to be a Dem during the Bush admin, while the republicans were advocating illegal wars, dodging a 9/11 investigation, destroying the bill of rights (PATRIOT ACT), and legalizing secret prisons for American citizens. Imagine my shock after Obama won, did the same things, and Dems defend it and still do. We need a new Dem party, like JFKs, completely opposed to socialism, completely about national defense and security etc but maybe have some different ideas on social programs that can be used to help Americans and really just provide a counter point to Republican ideas (just not a treasonous, corrupt, commie party like we have now). Forgot to add, this New Dem Party should advocate a complete counter-point to the Republicans foolish and dangerous ideas on the special relationship with Israel (as did JFK, one of the reasons he was killed, re: Dimona Nuke Program)
