I work with this scientist/PhD guy about once a week. Really brilliant, quiet, soft-spoken dude, but he will literally spout Daily Kos talking points in 2 seconds if politics ever come up.
On a call today, he said "Trump has already lied 6,420 times. They did a study on it."
Taking the high-road (and not wanting to stir up a pot of shit since he's an important member of our team), I simply said: "In my book, 99% of the times a politician open his mouth, I assume they are lying and will say anything to get what they want."
Bizarre how "smart" people are so easily misled by the MSM.
