Military Situation In Northwestern Syria On November 5, 2018 (Map Update)

On November 5, the tensions in the northwestern part of Syria, particularly the Idlib de-escalation zone, decreased in comparison to the previous days.

On November 4, limited violations of the ceasefire regime took place in northern Hama, northern Lattakia and southwestern Aleppo. However, no notable clashes were reported. On the next day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported at least one violation of the ceasefire regime registered by the Russian-Turkish observation points in northern Lattakia.

Some sources link the current de-escalation in the area with withdrawal of at least 1,200 Turkish-backed militants from the area to a frontline with the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the area of Manbij. Most of Turkish-backed groups are only formally supporting the de-escalation agreement and in-fact assist Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and other radicals in their actions.

Kabul Government Controls Or Influences Only 55.5 Percent Of Afghanistan

On November 4th, the Taliban captured a joint Afghan National Army (ANA) and police forces base in Terinkot, the capital of the Uruzgan province as reported by Pajhwok Afghan News.

According to anonymous sources, 25 ANA and Police forces were stationed in the base when the Taliban attacked on the evening of November 3rd in the Nawa area of Terinkot.

The number of security personnel or Taliban killed and injured in the attack is unclear. The anonymous source also added that the Taliban seized weapons and vehicles from the base.

Initially, the capture was reported by an anonymous source. However, the Uruzgan provincial council confirmed the incident, without elaboration.

Pajhwok Afghan News also cited an unnamed official of the Afghanistan Ministry of Defense who also confirmed the fall of the security base. The source also said that several security personnel members were killed, without providing a specific number.

The Taliban also released a statement saying that they captured the base in Terinkot city, named Tabai Kotla, killing 10 and taking 13 hostages.

Also, on November 4th, Taliban fighters suspended mobile phone services in the province in the Ghazni province, as reported by Pajhwok.

There are numerous recent reports of increased Taliban activity and frequent clashes with Afghan Security Forces.

On October 30th, Army Gen. Austin Miller spoke to NBC News. He is the new US general leading NATO’s Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan as of September 2nd.

When he assumed control there were near-record casualties and injuries of Afghan forces. He instituted a more aggressive policy of helping the Afghan military track and defeat the Taliban — what he calls “regaining the tactical initiative.”

1100 Migrants Apprehended Daily Along U.S.-Mexico Border, Say Feds

Border Patrol agents apprehended an average of nearly 1,100 migrants along the U.S-Mexico Border every day in the past fiscal year. During the most recent month, that number jumped to nearly 1,400.

During Fiscal Year 2018 (which ended on September 30), U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the nine southwest border sectors apprehended an average of nearly 1,100 migrants per day. Of those, approximately 430 were listed as unaccompanied minors or family units, according to the Fiscal Year 2018 Southwest Border Migration Report from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Border Patrol agents apprehended 396,579 illegal immigrants who crossed the border between ports of entry during the most recent fiscal year. This represents an average of 1,087 per day. Included in that number were 50,036 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) — 137 per day — and 107,212 Family Unit Aliens (FMUA) — 293.73 per day — officials reported.

Those numbers increased substantially during the final six months of the fiscal year. During that period, agents apprehended approximately 1,225 per day — a nearly 13 percent increase over the first six months of the year.

During the past six months, the average number of family units jumped to about 364 daily (an increase over the yearly average of 293), and the apprehension of unaccompanied minors jumped to 156 per day (an increase over the yearly average of 136).

The busiest sector along the U.S. southwest border is the Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV). It averaged more than 40 percent of all border apprehensions in the nine southwest border sectors. The RGV Sector averaged about 445 migrant apprehensions per day, the report reveals (162,262 total). The sector reported apprehensions of nearly 60 percent (63,278) of all of the 107,212 FMUA apprehensions along the U.S.-Mexico Border. It also accounted for nearly 50 percent (23,757) of all unaccompanied minor apprehensions. On average the RGV sector apprehended an average of more than 170 family units and 65 unaccompanied minors per day.

In response to the drastically rising numbers, the Border Patrol officials announced the awarding of a contract to build new sections of border fencing in the Rio Grande Valley Sector beginning in February 2019, Breitbart News reported.

The numbers listed above are expected to increase sharply as migrant caravans from Central America approach the U.S. southern border. In response, U.S. military forces joined with Border Patrol agents and CBP officers to reinforce points of entry and increased security measures for unsecured sections of the RGV Sector’s border.

Trump Confirms G-20 Summit With Putin, Says Paris Meeting "Probably Won't Happen"

Three days after a Kremlin spokesman revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Trump had agreed to a "long and thorough" meeting on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Buenos Aires, President Trump confirmed as much during brief comments with reporters at Andrews Air Force Base on Monday, but added that he "probably won't" be meeting with Putin next week in Paris, where both men are expected to attend a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI.

US President Donald Trump says he “probably won’t” be meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Paris, but will meet at the G20 summit later this month https://t.co/vC47a5sOR9 pic.twitter.com/3iSrvcC9W3

— CNN Politics (@CNNPolitics) November 5, 2018

The president reiterated that he, Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping - with whom the president is also expected to meet in Buenos Aires later this month - would be having "plenty of meetings" in the future. Moscow and Washington are in the process of planning a Washington summit expected some time early next year. However, Trump said he's "not sure" about whether a Paris meeting would happen.

"We haven't set anything up yet - we don't know whether that's going to be the right place. I'm going to be in Paris for other reason. But we will be meeting at the G-20. We will be having meetings after that - probably plenty of meetings. Getting along with Russia and China would be a good thing - I've said it many times. But I'm not sure that we'll have a meeting in Paris - probably not."

Meetings between Trump and Putin would come as the DOJ has indicted a Russian national for her involvement with another Russian troll farm trying to "interfere" with the US midterms, as US lawmakers weigh more sanctions on Russian banks.

Trump also said he believes Republicans will perform better than many expect in Tuesday's midterms, though he acknowledged that, historically, the president's party typically loses seats in Congress. The president also mockingly dismissed questions about the "racist" campaign advertisement that has been pulled by several cable channels and networks, replying that sometimes reporters ask him questions that are "offensive."

Russian FM: Israeli Strikes in Syria Will Increase Regional Tensions

Israeli strikes in Syria will not resolve Tel Aviv's problems but will only increase tensions in the region, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday.

"Military operations cannot resolve Israeli security concerns but will only help increase regional tensions," Lavrov said in an interview with the Spanish El Pais newspaper.

The minister added that Israel endangered the life of Russian troops in Syria's Palmyra in 2017 by failing to stick to its own commitments.

"Unfortunately, Israel has not always met its obligations, primarily those related to the warnings by the Russian military against military operations in Syria. In some cases, this endangered the life and health of our soldiers in Syria, for example when Israeli planes bombed targets near Palmyra in March 2017," he stressed.

Russian Foreign Minister also said that Moscow regrets that the Western countries rejected the idea of Russian President Vladimir Putin to create an international counter-terrorism coalition under the auspices of the United Nations.

"The idea to establish a broad anti-terrorism coalition under the auspices of the United Nations was raised by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the UN General Assembly back in September 2015. Unfortunately, it was not supported by our Western partners," Lavrov said.

"This is unfortunate because terrorism threatens all members of the international community," the minister added.

ANON'S

UNDERSTANDING ALL PARTS OF THE GREAT AWAKENING

We all know, or at least are starting to know, about the stop/fight 'the cabal part of this GREAT AWAKENING' But it goes a lot deeper than that.

To begin to address this in a manner which is digestible it is best to realize that the fight is not just one for our countries. We know they want us divided but there is another often overlooked division, that is the division of the mind, body and soul. They have used chemicals in our food supply to condition us to be compliant and to encourage illness. They use other chemicals and heavy metals in our water to dumb us down and cause disease of the mind, they use fluoride, among other things, to shut down our PINEAL GLAND thus shutting off our spiritual connections (SOUL).

Brothers and Sisters the other major part of this fight between good v evil is in us all, it is in the hearts and minds of men and women.

If we all simply CHOSE to do the right thing evil would cease to exist in an instant.

The CHOICE is yours!

Peace over war

Right over wrong

Faith over fear

Others over self

Strength over violence

Light over dark

Cleanse your mind, body and soul for enlightenment!
