That was the decade they were trying to stop free thinkers that evolved from the decades where the teachers in schools had to stop beating every kid, they weren't allowed to hit and beat kids into submission and that's when we saw the late 60's and the 70's churn out free thinkers, "hippies" - so they took the weed and made sure the 80's took back control. Think about it, the school system is a key to a lot of their mind control, when they lost physical abuse wide scale in their system they lost our minds, so the technology came full throttle, all the influences that captured our minds came and we got swept up again.
Its hard eh? I feel ya, got a few pals who haven't a clue. Hurts the heart.
