So Q is almost certainly operating in accordance with the law, and with POTUS's knowledge, IMO.

That said, then, any attempts by other parties to pin Hatch Act violations on Q would be the fruit of "rope 'a dope" tactics by the Q team. Draw out the enemy to undertake useless attacks. That blows their cover, opens lanes for counterattacks and wastes their resources
