NYC checking in –

Mood was light amongst the locals (near Spanish Harlem) but the white folk were uptight. That is not unusual because they're usually Leftists up here.

Polling place was nowhere near as crowded as it was in 2016 – probably because a conservative midterm vote in NYC is pretty much a formality.

I do want to salute the poll workers – volunteers, ordinary, everyday NYers who are fun to be around.

No issues whatsoever.

Addendum: Paper ballot, btw. It gets sucked into scanner that says, "Thank you, your vote's been counted!" when it's done. You can't help but wonder what goes on inside that little machine.
