Maybe I'm reading into this too much but this email is wild. So Stevens was separated from the rest of his personnel, including security, in what the FBI is describing as a "complex attack." He later showed up at the hospital dead and it is also unclear if he arrived at the hospital dead or alive.
I don't know enough about security or operations to say for sure but this sounds very weird to me. The cynic in mean thinks that our own CIA conducted Black Ops against one of our own ambassadors to cover up for arming ISIS/working with Iran/any other dirt they were doing over there.
