One possibility could be to get the people to rise up against Potus for being "crazy and dangerous" to their well being. eg. Look what could have been?

My uncle had one but as a full sized antique

player piano. The notes would have to match a piano's keys because the roll of paper (with holes cut out) would cause the piano to hit the correct note.

A note (hole) that was tall would hold the note longer, (before the paper muffled the note), a wide note would be two side by side keys played together.

Sorry, no music training. I know how to play a player piano. :) If I remember right, you pump the foot pedals after installing the music sheet roll. I was a kid.

Nothing about letters here. The mechanical fingers hits a hole in the paper and the arm that connects the finger to the piano string strikes the string.
