I am an Uber driver in Omaha, Nebraska.

Uber is giving free rides, for people who need them, to get to the polls.

I gave ZERO rides this morning to the polls… and it was actually so damn quiet this morning… after the morning rush, getting various people to their offices, to the airport, etc… I was able to drive all the way across Omaha Nebraska, from the airport all the way in the east, to ALLLL the way west where I live… go and vote myself… I forgot to go offline, so I was "seeking rides" still while voting… I didn't get a single ride request the entire time. Figure about 40 minutes of no activity at all…

In fact, I just didn't see much voting activity in my driving around in the very "blue" area of town today… Maybe it'll happen later today, but seriously… doesn't seem too many people are "enthusiastic" yet.
