I saved my stub so that I could check on my mail in ballot later. I mailed it in yesterday, so I need to wait.

You can even mail it on voting day. As long as it's postmarked by election day you are fine. They wait three days after election day to make sure they get all mailed in ballots.
I don't agree. Why would you be left with a stub if you can't use it later to check on your vote??
