The House of Representatives is based on population, so the bigger the state, the more representatives they have (total of 435). The Senate has 2 senators for each state, so only 100 total.
They both have similar committees, and the chairmen for those committees are from the majority. So if the Dems win the House, anything Bob Goodlatte or Trey Gowdy tried to uncover is going to be undone. Also, the House is the one who impeaches and then the Senate runs the trial. So if we lose the House, all we'll hear is "Impeach 45" ad nauseum.
