Reposting from last bread since I'm not sure it went through, my apologies:

Fellow Patriots:

Today and Tomorrow, 11/6 and 11/7, is the Hindu ceremony of Diwali—also known as the Festival of Lights, despite being on the darkest day of the Hindu Lunar calendar. In some Hindu traditions, the significance of the day marks the end of the 14 year exile of Ram and Sita in the Hindu epic poem the Ramayana, while overall the day celebrates the triumph of darkness over light, the triumph of good over evil, and the triumph of knowledge over ignorance.

I pray with my fellow Patriots of all religions and beliefs that our nation walks out of the darkness and into the light on this auspicious election day.
