Those last 3 shots were from a different gun. Listen closely to the change in tone. They are deeper, which cannot change with angles, room size, etc.

Also, listen to the irregularity of the first shots... and the perfect rhythm of the "triple tap". Leads me to believe we heard 2 shooters (nothing after the second).

Larger bore weapon, or slower burning powder.
