We're not fucked, not even close. The real power in DC rests with the Presidency, the Senate and through them the judicial appointments. For fuck sakes, Obama had a GOP house and a Dem Senate and Obama was able to maneuver. All the bills that came from the House just sat there in the Senate.
The Senate and it's not even close especially when there is a sizable Senate majority. The House can't do shit with their bills without McConnell and Trump approval.
